Scottie Pippen issues statement about why he was beaten up by midgets.

It seems like once they are out of the limelight, many famous people do ridiculous things for money. Here's to living simply, without getting beat-downs from little people.

Metaphorically or literally? Do you have any kids?

Are your knees sore?

Getting beaten up by midgets is very rock and roll. Hats off to the man.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

Reminds me of a story I heard (paraphrasing): So I accidentally rear ended some guy's car. I got out to exchange insurance information when a midget jumped out of the other car and ran up to me waving his arms. He looked furious, then yelled, "I'm not happy!" Before I could stop myself, I asked, "So which one are you?"

you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods,
you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Stephen F. Roberts

Unfortunately never. But not through any lack of trying on my part.

I don't consider Scottie Pippin a celebrity - never heard of him, so maybe fighting midgets is a good idea.

They say there is no such thing as bad publicity, but I'm not sure that is actually true.

Probably because his name was usually preceded by "Michael Jordan and...oh yeah..."
