Find a receiver in the store, hook them up and see how they sound. If you like em, buy em. They seem like they'd be decent, but don't expect anything spectacular. Dokorder was known for it's RTR players, not it's speakers, but... again.. they're definitely weird, and if you dig the sound, go for it. If you can crack them open or remove the grills, check the surrounds on the drivers. They might be crumbling, which will lead to poor sound. You can then either replace the surrounds (cheap, but time consuming), or replace the speakers with some low cost goldwoods from parts-express. Just go check them out, see how they sound.
