Anyone using it?

I've been using it since yesterday. A weird hybrid of Friendfeed and Gmail. Some icky privacy issues, but there are workarounds. As with Wave, there are some much-needed tools that need to be implemented (like collapsing a wall of text properly).

Thoughts?

Nothing that's revolutionary enough to make people switch as far as I can see.

It just looks like a me-too product thus far. And there are some issue with it that I really dislike, like the wall of text that you mentioned.

So I Buzz, and 24 hours later a copy gets sent to my email inbox to remind me what I was wasting time thinking about yesterday.

Awesome.

Google doesn't know what to do with all the money, so they hire people to do all kinds of crap.

If they wanted to do something productive, they'd hire someone to make System 7.1.2 run on a G5.

But it needs a collar with GPS uplink and the ability to receive orders and directions via Twitter.

Yet another everyone-cares-so-much-about-what-I'm-doing-every-waking-moment-of-my-life service.

Eh. If people want to know what I'm doing, there are these things called IRC, instant messenger, and *GASP* the telephone that can be miraculously used to contact me.

Steve Jobs says Buzz is no good, so there is no need for anyone to try it.

He also said the iPad is the best device ever, so buy it now.

Whatever.

Right now, most EVERYONE agrees that Buzz is a bug-ridden, wanna-be piece of premature software.

Fixed.

I never did get the hang of social networking sites. They always seem to try to pull you down to the average. I guess I'm too old school... ...if I want to know how someone's day's been, I'll beat an answer out of them phone them and ask. Pull, not push updates.
