Given the other candidates for this year's Oscars... I'm actually surprised.

Did anyone notice or care that, in the interest of time, Tom Hanks just announced the Best Picture winner rather than mentioning all the nominees first?

Probably because the show was running late.

They wanted to conceal the fact that Paul Blart: Mall Cop was actually one of the other nominees.

Do you plan to do other things in the meantime, or are you just going to sit there and do nothing but wait for it?

I'm just biding my time and watching Scotty grow.

You just came back and already you're going on about your penis? At least give the thread a little foreplay in your lovemaking first, huh?
Besides, this thread is about Paul Blart: Mall Cop, and I don't think your penis was in this movie.

Ok, it's about watching Scotty grow lyrically, not literally.
Watching Scotty Grow lyrics
(Mac Davis)
There he sits with a pen and a yellow pad
What a handsome lad
That's my boy
BRLFQ spells mom and dad
But that ain't too bad
That's my boy
You can have your TV and you nightclubs
And you can have your drive in picture show
I'll stay here with my little man near
We'll listen to the radio
Biding my time and
Watching Scotty grow
Mac Davis. Bobby Goldsboro. Steve Gutenberg.
I've never seen them in the same room at the same time.
I posit that at least one of them is watching Scotty at a time.

Yes!
Let me relate to you a story that was an important part of my childhood.
A man climbs up to a mountain top looking for peace and enlightenment and along the way up he sees a fish in a stream. Thinking that he might catch that fish and eat it for dinner he kneels down by the creekside and waits for the fish to swim by.
Unfortunately, the man did not a fishing rod with him, nor were there any branches he could use as a rod, or bait. However, the man did have a harp with him, so he decided to play the harp. Sure enough, the fish started to gather around since they were not used to such sounds. As the fish came close, he lunged at them and they scattered away in a hurry, he came up empty ended.
