I hope we start seeing OLED start to move forward (kinda doubt it though)
It'd be great to see 21mbps HSPA networks go live somewhere other than Canada.
Android is gonna pick up, and each manufacturer is gona start developing their own unique interfaces for it... but it'll still look cobbled together worse than WIndows.
Windows Phone will make some market share gains, a lot of Xbox users will jump on it, ultimately killing the Zune. LG will probably get the biggest shot in the arm from Windows Phone, this will ultimately drag down Microsoft's platform since the phones with it will be very unreliable as LG sucks.
Apple will buy someone big.
Adobe will start getting more and more pissy with Apple.
Apple will begin work on a new product category for OS X embedded.
Apple and Google may kiss and make up.
Steve may have Schmidt gunned down.
Motorola's handset unit will be spun off and nearly immediately go bankrupt and be bought by Palm
Upon purchasing Motorola Palm will go bankrupt and be purchased by HTC.
Upon purchasing Paul, HTC will be sued even worse by Apple and forced to go bankrupt.
HTC will then be purchased by SCO.
SCO's board will be killed by a group of crazed webOS fans, and the assets sold off by the US government to a Chinese company nobody's ever heard of.
The iPhone will hit 1Ghz
The new iPhone will look just like the 3GS, and people will start complaining about that too.
I kind of wonder if Apple might enter the dumb phone market,
The Kindle dies
Everyone finds out that when there are a billion app stores available people still only pay attention to the Apple one, and the Android market.
RIM starts to see serious declines
Cameras... don't do anything... maybe a few more Micro 4thirds... whatever that means...
Apple creates a capacitive screen tablet solution... which starts a feud with Wacom.
(Actually I'm wondering, could a pen that would conduct heat from the hand be used with a capacitive screen to input stylus feedback into the iPad? Pop in some batteries to register pressure over bluetooth and you're good to go!)
Dell continues to loose money
Acer continues to do better
HP continues to have their laptops break down
Google will start to make more enemies
Microsoft will strive to continue to change it's image
The tech industry's love affair with Windows 7 will start to wane.

You realize that will only happen if HDDs and SSDs switch from native SATA to USB, right?

-Any comments on Apple's board of directors ? Scott McNealy, Larry Ellison, etc ? who will be added on ?
-What of Sun/Oracle ? If there's ever been a company in limbo (in tech anyway, imho), it's Sun. I tend to have a 'soft spot' for Sun (despite hating it all through my undergraduate years), and i hope they experience a resurgence. The only other CEO in tech with charisma (after Steve Jobs), is Ellison, and i hope he puts it to use on Sun. If the Mac and iPhone are fronting Microsoft on the consumer front, Sun *SHOULD* be fronting them on the server front, imho.
-Oh and yea... more prominent sites will make Flash-less versions of their site.
"Apple will buy someone big" .... that should have been Sun, imho, thus given Apple the opportunity for a pincer move on Microsoft on both consumer and server front ?
-"I kind of wonder if Apple might enter the dumb phone market". I suspect they might(low probability tho)...... how long after the original iPod, did they intro the shuffle ?
-RIM starts to see serious declines. I second that.
Cheers

Corollary prediction:
Nobody will have implemented an eSATA connector with built-in power supply, thus making an already single-purpose connector impractical to many of the already very limited usage scenarios.

Sprint will invest too much money into WiMax and continue to bleed sales.
LTE will start to appear by the end of the year in target markets such as Seattle.
HTC vs Apple lawsuit will not be decided unless it is settled outside of court.
LightPeak will emerge on a few desktops.
Flash is going to die as iPad popularity grows, HTML5 begins to take over.
Microsoft will unveil more platforms based upon Silverlight (based on CE 6).
eInk will be a thing of the past by the holiday season.
RIM either comes out with a new OS or fades into the world of stuffy businessmen even further.
Palm is purchased by a company, perhaps HTC, webOS continues as HTC makes a single HD2-based Windows Phone 7 Series device.
A slimmer version of the 360 comes out, with internal flash storage and USB storage support.
OS X will continue on a strong upward sales march, but marketshare won't be effected much because of the popularity of netbooks.
iPod classic bites the dust.

I'd like to see a Light Peak demo, but I'll reserve that for WWDC 2011.
iPhone with A4 chip and double resolution display.

I'd like to see an expansion (and miniaturization) of wireless HDMI. But that's probably a few years off...

Someone will hook up a PC to a 3D TV and a bunch of people will start whining about how Apple NEEDS to put 3D displays in all their Macs.

I could see Courier being cancelled (since it hasn't even been formally announced), but I think the chances of Microsoft canceling Natal are right around 0%.

Google's been pretty quiet with Chrome right now. Personally I could see Chrome OS getting pushed back. It seems as if Google's stretched itself pretty far right now with all these (silly) technologies that they are rolling out like Wave and then adding onto the technologies they already have.
