What's up with Jobs on the cover of Time. Check out the stray long hairs in front of his ear. I realize this is a petty complaint but I figured that he'd be obsessive about things like that. Guess not:

I suppose you can say the thread is lame but the point I was trying to make is that I've always seen Jobs as meticulous bordering on obsessive. Frequently these traits will be evident in all aspects of life. I find it odd for such a close-up picture to have these very noticeable hairs out of place. It was one of the first thing my eyes gravitated to.

Perhaps he cuts it himself with clippers. That part of the head around the ears is difficult to get at effectively.

Anyway, sucky photo editors at Time.

I'm sure it was intentional.

I think his 'salt n pepper' beard looks fine.... prolly reminiscent of the 60s/70s .

What i find kinda....stale... is his wardrobe. I mean sure it's sort of a trade mark, sneakers, blue jeans and black mock-turtle neck.... but come on, even when hes out at a cafe' meeting with Schmidt ? And black socks ?!?

If im not mistaken in '99-'01 there used to be some variety...he had some cool black vests (original iBook or PowerMac intro, where he had that thick beard).

Cheers
