I particularly like that the guy who maintains the site actually goes out of his way to give himself credit at the bottom of the page. Oh, his mom must be so proud that her son has mastered the internets.

Not that this is the worst most of us have seen, but certainly the worst I've seen that actually had 2009 stamped on it.

you've got to figure that a bunch of egg head astronomers could wrap themselves round css and html better than this. I guess they are focussed on actually astronomising. Although would it hurt to just fire up iWeb for 10 minutes to spruce this up (or some similar win package - although Macs are pretty bit in astronomy)
