I won't spoil the article until a few have read it but this is one of the strangest things I have heard in a long time. A serious WTF came from reading it.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Yowzer. No laughs here, that is some sad s**t. Every highschool student should have to write an essay based on this story to drive home why they should avoid drugs.

Or religion.

Yup.

I've seen that kind of drug-induced dementia on several occasions, and it took several people to fix the situation. In one case the person was institutionalized (PCP-laced pot there, from "some guy they met"). LSD can do that, too.

People have no imagination when it comes to how bad ONE TIME with drugs can screw you up. Although in this case I'd imagine it was a chronic abuse issue.
He can be fixed -- you can't.

The link isn't working for me; it's complaining about the certificate (damn you, corporate network!).

Would someone be so kind as to summarize?

Any ramblings are entirely my own, and do not represent those of my employers, coworkers, friends, or species

What on earth does this have to do with religion? I'm pretty sure that regardless of faith, that anyone could have thought that while under the influence of drugs.

I think it had to do with the fact the he thought the devil was inside him. The devil is a creation of religion.

I am curious as to how this will pan out. I suppose they will eventually plead not guilty due to temporary insanity, but not sure if it would fly since it seems he willingly ingested mushroom tea.
