Yeah, someone has been posting here with a spammer sig for a while now, with no repercussions for it.

I'm going to assume this is a serious question, so...

Sunday AM, Sunday PM, Wednesday PM youth service, and miscellaneous services/conferences...

180-200, maybe? That doesn't include Monday evening youth night (recreational), Tuesday evening prayer service/choir practice, and Thursday evening youth band practice.

Good heavens!

Think of all that valuable time, wasted—time that you would, otherwise, have been perfectly capable of putting to good use, like wasting it on the Internet, for example. I kid, I kid.

Thats impressive. I survived a Catholic boarding school for 5 years and had chapel every morning and before evening meal as well as the Sunday and Wednesday services.

I never got touched by the priests or brothers, but a few of them ended up in jail.

That's not as outrageously high as I was fearing, but damn, that's still high.

Seeing how our only communication has been through these boards, then I’m guessing your assumption of me being creepy is derived from what you’ve read in my posts.

You should get to know me in person Laminar; ya might like what you find behind this book cover that is MacNN.

Mr. Haskins: No! And don't go trying to make a mystery out of it! Somebody probably to busy to pick up the stuff.
Jimmy: Could be the Creeper.
Mr. Haskins: [annoyed] Creeper, Creeper, Creeper. You give me the creeps!
Jimmy: Well he could be. That'd be a swell reason why he wouldn't wanna see anyone, or come out, 'cept at night.
Mr. Haskins: Well you've just gotta deliver these groceries. And don't forget the money! A dollar and a quarter.
Jimmy: Okay. But I still think it could be--
Mr. Haskins: I know! So he's The Creeper. Well you just creep along with that - I mean, hurry up with that stuff!

The good thing is that our church is quite a bit different from, say, a Catholic mass. Not so much sitting around quietly, and a lot more laughing/singing/worshipping/interacting. I actually look forward to each time (and I'm under no obligation to say anything but the the truth to a bunch of strangers on the Internet).

Yeeeee-ikes...no kidding? Watching "Deliver Us From Evil" (Netflix instant play) felt like a massive punch in the gut. I can't believe that stuff went relatively unaddressed for so long.

I went to a Christian school that had a daily devotion every morning as well. Our principal spoke to us each morning, but he was the type that everyone respected like crazy, and would've reported a faculty member to the police immediately if something fishy had happened.

Glad you got through unscathed.

Not as much as it used to be. When we first moved here (22 years ago), we'd have those revivals that consisted of 8 services per week. These days, there's more of a focus on meeting in each other's homes and/or getting involved in helping the community.

Yeeeeah, that was kinda/sorta pathetic. The Leonard/Penny dynamic is definitely my least favorite aspect of the show, but I can eye roll past it long enough to enjoy Sheldon's neurosis.

You didn't like Wolowitz just a little more after it?

I don't hate Wolowitz. I hate the fact that they made him an eye-sore I despise.

I didn't even watch Big Bang Theory when I was stuck on an airplane and it came up on the in-flight entertainment.
