I remember that on Fuzzy Wombat his avatar was the robot maid from the Jetsons, for some reason...

I don't think he's banned. As far as I'm aware his account is still active.

My memory of WDLove is him and whoever it was that he would talk with all the time saying "oh, I can't wait to talk to you again" "oh, you too. It's so awesome when we talk".

I couldn't tell if it was an act or not, but it was annoying as f*ck because whole threads would be hijacked by the two of them.

I never understood the whole WDLove - Cody Dawg thing, but I wouldn't say it annoyed me. It was almost refreshing to know that there would be a poster whose posts I could predict.

So if I started an account that did nothing but say "Hey, Dakar, habbee habbee na na" every post, that wouldn't get annoying?

The problem was more that the two of them used practically every thread for their cybervomit. It was very close to threadjacking.

Don't the actual personalities behind the actual internet personas have to weigh into this? WDlove was an older, mild mannered, retired dude. Maybe he just thought that he was being polite and not causing any harm? It seems unreasonable to expect everybody to adopt the hipster unwritten forum rules that pertain to maximizing thread efficiency in lounge threads, especially since they don't really make much sense.

Asking for someone to have a discernible personality is not plea for "maximizing thread efficiency"

The profile I just gave of him is about as deep of a profile I can provide for most people here.

Well if you did it sure it would be annoying! JK, I don't know, I guess I find it easy to overlook many of the nuances of our users. I think I have been in support or bringing back every banned user and don't have anyone on my blocked list.

A lot of people thought WD was a woman. I think the only way we knew was that he mentioned his wife or something once.

I chatted with him on iChat once via voicechat and he was very screepy, I won't say any more.
