Hi NN Forums members!
Nice to meet you.
I am a postgraduate student doing my MSc. Marketing in the University of the West of England, Bristol.
As a Mac user myself, I am particularly interested to base my dissertation on brand loyalty in Apple Mac products. More specifically, I am researching the impacts of online Apple communities on members' loyalty towards Apple.
In order to gain insights on the above I am conducting a simple web survey which consists only multiple-choice questions, and will take around 5 minutes to complete.
I have contacted the administrator "reader50" and got his "OK" to post my survey here.
It would be really helpful if you can fill in the survey by either clicking on the following link or copying the URL onto your browser:
Survey | Qualtrics Survey Software
http://bristol.qualtrics.com//SE?SID=SV_0jIverMfxHUa3xG
The research is entirely for academic purpose and no personal information that can lead to identification will be required. All data collected will be permanently destroyed once the dissertation is completed.
Thank you very much for sparing your time!
p.s. If you have any opinions on my research topic which are not covered by the survey, please feel free to raise them here, or alternatively contact me via my emuel: isa . mark at ymail period com.
Thanks again!
Best regards,
Isabel

Welcome!
The question on "visual entertainment" is unclear. If commenting on your questions won't screw up your sample, can I ask what you meant by that?

Isa, I've obscured your email link. Be advised that spam harvesting bots troll all major internet boards, looking for email addresses to harvest. They sell the addresses and you get increasing quantities of spam. The solution is to make it unreadable to machines, as I did above.

I took the survey, but did wonder at the choice of apple forums. Of the 6 listed, I've only posted on MacNN. AppleInsider? MacOSXHints? Who else would be a contender?

Isa: have you found that computer loyalty is sort of a novice to intermediate computer user sort of thing? Have you found as much hardcore geek loyalty?

That'd be the "hot chicks" thread.
