Never really done much DIY before. But seem to have gone a bit mental over the weekend. Plasterer coming in tomorrow to do the really skilled job but awful 70's style fireplace and surround are history as is all the rubbish old plaster.
I agree. Have the wood beams stained and the bricks cleaned. That would look great with hardwood floors.
