Whatever your feelings toward the geopolitcal issues of the day, please take the time to find and thank a veteran. I guarantee that nobody ever went into military service for recognition or for the money. But having someone recognize them for all they went through will make a veteran's day. And we owe them all a whole lot.
And please try to find someone who's in his late 70s and who is a veteran-our Korean War veterans have been unfairly ignored for years. If you can find a WWII veteran, thank him a whole lot.
at 11:00 on 11-11-1918, the "war to end all wars" ended. Unfortunately, that was not the case, and more wars followed. Some of my friend's fathers fought in WWII, and one father who followed Patten across Europe just passed away.
I just did a shout out and tagged my friend on Facebook. He's been in the Army for almost a decade. Sadly, I don't see him often due to distance, but I did see him at Christmas two years ago. We met up at SeaTac. I was coming in and he was leaving for Cuba. Got to hang out for a couple hours.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.
