Yikes. And it's not like an old article someone's digging up, they specifically reference Windows 7, so it's at least been updated in the past few years.

They forgot to adjust resolution so the dot pitches match, and using a color calibration tool so the colors match. It bugs me quite a bit when either is off.
The Computing Masters at Microsoft didn't even mention those steps. Yes, we should trust them.
