She means Charlie Sheen of course.

Jon Cryer deserves better.

Sheen should have random drug tests at least once a week as long as he's working. Fail one, lose a years pay. Fail twice, you get replaced by your 1/2 brother Emilio.

This guy is a machine.

It's hard to tell where his character ends and he begins.

I'm more appalled he gets paid enough money from that god-awful sitcom to afford that amount of coke.

When you're scaring the porn stars, you know you're partying hard.

Reminds me of Jerry Garcia calling Aerosmith "the druggiest bunch of guys I've ever seen."

I'm mildly curious, has he been an unreliable employee?

So he likes to drink and screw. Where's the problem?

Plus the fact he's using porn chicks means he's working with an already tainted segment of the gene pool so no harm done there.

He and David Arquette shouldn't be pressured into rehab. Its all quite sanctimonious to critique people who made their livelihood on being known as party guys for living up to their reputation. Dean Martin and Sinatra are rolling in their graves.

Yeah, it's also very similar to John Belushi telling Carrie Fisher she was doing too much Cocaine.

One of our friends was in porn for a while, she now has a MBA from Duke. I know, because I loaned her some cash to finish her degree and she's already paid ~75% of it back. It can be said that most adult film stars aren't the brightest of people, but some will surprise you.

Apart from business opportunities that involve self employment or in the management side of adult entertainment what good is that MBA? I can't see many corporate environments that would throw open the doors to an ex porn star.

Also I would argue that more likely than a lack of intelligence the problem with porn actresses is that they are messed up in the head from some sort of sexual abuse or parental abandonment. That sort of damaged goods isn't going to get fixed or made worse by Sheen

She manages a restaurant/catering business, she's not in porn anymore. Did her thing, made some money, then got out. She's a good kid, perceptive, resourceful, was never abused, unless you count being the child of a Methodist minister and being forced to go to Sunday School until she moved away. It's stupid to say that everyone who's been in porn is "damaged goods". The way she is now, if you saw her, you'd never know that she did adult video. Oh, she's still a little wild, and likes to get naked in our hot tub, but then sometimes I'm not very domesticated either.

I have no idea of the exact number, but I'd guess ~30-40? I've seen two.

Just as a notification, I changed the thread title a bit (though I realise some of the punniness has now gone missing); partly to keep it sober(er), partly to avoid getting blacklisted in trackbacks and such things.

She manages a restaurant/catering business, she's not in porn anymore.
Interestingly, I semi-know a guy who used to be in the adult industry and is now a head chef at quite a posh restaurant. Seems to be a common place to go after showing off on video isn’t your thing anymore.

This is the second 'hiatus' for Two and a Half Men because of his 'problems'.

However, NBC doesn't sound too bothered. I suspect they'd let him go if they felt he was costing them more money than he was making for them. His problem may, in fact generate more interest in the show. Or, perhaps they consider this to be character research, since the main character of the show has the same sexual appetite as Sheen.

I can't imagine anyone paying someone to act in that drivel. Nor can I imagine the show being worth that much! Last time I saw it it was absolutely terrible! Btw apparently he's one of the top paid actors (can't believe that!) but there are several who make more.

Actually most of last season stunk. This season had a few funny moments but this show is well past it's peak. Jake and Allen need to move out into their own show. Sheen is damaged goods. What an immature "JA"

It's kinda funny that you're so concerned about this. I didn't realize the difference between CBS and NBC was so crucial.
