Somehow I don't think he's on death's door. That article states that he spent a full day working at Apple the day before the pics were taken. If you were about to die, would you really be going to work?

It's not like you can predict the piano will fall on your head.

Well, I guess he's not days away from death if he's meeting across country with President Obama tomorrow, now is he?

If the cancer is back, that's seriously bad. Steve Jobs can survive another cancer treatment, but even so, it is bad.

All my best wishes to him.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Agreed. I hope it isn't a major recurrence. Here's to hoping he recovers and has years more with a high quality of life. I hope he gets to really enjoy all the prosperity he's earned. I hope he isn't the type of type-A personality who can only enjoy himself when he's in his role as business titan.

Hopefully someone will swoop in with Futurama-style head in a jar technology.

If you infer that Steve Jobs is flying across the country from that article... It's in San Francisco. I'm sure we'll get some pictures after it's done. What I see. Just another well-timed media bite from Apple though.
