Can't remember the name of a band...

Alright, this has been bugging me for a couple of days.... i cant even remember the name of the lead singer or any songs.
I remember hearing them in the early 2000s. The style was Rock/Alternative. The lead singer was skinny, and covered in tattoos. They gave off a very Cali vibe, and i think the lead did a couple of print ads for GAP.
Anyone know which band im thinking of ?

Yes i know, but it's one of those things where i got the name on the tip of my tongue but just can't get it. The guy looked like Tommy Lee, with longer hair.
