NEW - Apple iPad 2-64GB WiFi + 3G BRAND NEW - eBay (item 320645535144 end time Mar-20-11 13:44:49 PDT)

There's a very very small chance this guy has a truckload of 64 GB WiFi+3G iPad 2s he's selling at well below cost... but if someone bought it through eBay and PayPal they're completely protected through eBay, right? How would this guy make this scam work?

All I can see is worst case scenario he doesn't ship the item and then the buyer gets their money back after a bit of hassle with eBay and PayPal.

This is how it works:

This listing (320645535144) has been removed, or this item is not available.

To answer your question, heck no, you are not protected through eBay and Paypal. It's your word against theirs and they may side with the scammer.

Is this thread insinuating that eBay has scammers? Blasphemy.
