Lying down game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Can someone explain to me what the hell the attraction is to this or why someone would do it? Maybe I am just getting old but this:

No, I've moved on to anchoring. Planking is too mainstream.

How does one "win" a planking game? Largest amount of sunburn?

I think the idea is to find the most ridiculous place to do it. And people are dying doing it, too.

So drinking and planking are a bad mix, but the overall idea isn't so crazy. It makes for some interesting pictures and isn't any weirder than any other trend that has come and gone.

There's already been an 11 o'clock news "exposé" on it. "Planking could be killing your children now!"

This is harmless unless you're stupid. It's much safer than the "choking game."

It's not that bad. To some couples it's just a normal evening at home.

For this you need to understand that a lot of people are just dumb and skill less, but do seek attention. Acrobatic maneuvers like parcour require skills that are difficult to obtain. Acting like Steve-O will get you hurt. Having a go at a singing contest like X factor will hurt your feelings. So how to gain fame? planking is a good and harmless way to find attention.

btw the skinny girl has a nice bottom
