IBM had a German subsidiary that supplied punch card equipment to the German government between 1933 and 1945. It has been alleged in various books and at least one lawsuit that the Nazis used this equipment to in the Holocaust. The question is how much IBM in the US knew of this. The answer is possibly nothing, but there is some discussion over this every now and then.
