I couldn't imagine living like this; constant neck kinking and pain being the major reason. I guess there's no surgery for it... Or maybe it's just too painful.
In other hong kongish news the high speed rail system is turning out to be an expensive failure compared to flight.

You meant China?
We don't have a high speed rail system in Hong Kong as yet.

No I meant Hong kong news because that was the news agency (apple daily) I read and quoted... but yes it's about China. Sorry if it was misleading.

We are actually building a high speed rail line to link up with the system in China, but it won't be finished for a few years yet and its costing us about HKD $65 Billion, but that is dwarfed by the HKD $131 Billion the 3rd runway at our airport is going to cost.
But hey, the Hong Kong government has $1Trillion in our exchange fund to play with.

That runway better last a hundred years at that price. Do you happen to know the maintenance cost of the rail tracks vs runways?
I remember they said something like people were choosing to fly rather than take the train because it was only slightly more expensive; supposedly they raced they two also.
