I've only really noticed this phenomenon in the last few months, but for some reason it really bothers me. I know most of the population of the internet is at an equal level of literacy with the average loaf of bread but this particular trend is just enraging to me.
I keep seeing people trying to elongate words that end with a silent e by adding more of them to the end of the word. This works fine for words like Noooooooooooo! But does not work for words like Niceeeeeeeeeeee! I can see what these people are trying to do, but its retarded so if everyone on the internet could just stop it, that would be great.
Also please learn the difference between lose and loose and between worse and worst.

Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

A pet peeve of mine. Idiots.

"'Jelly Hat' sounds silly," I told Prince. "How about something poetic, like 'Raspberry Beret.'"

The t is not so bad. It still doesn't work very well but its not as bad as the e. Adding es stops them being silent and completely changing the sound of the word making it sound stupid. Faceeeeee = Facy. = Retarded.

Now you're just adding them to words that never had them in the first place? Thats a new one. And also dreadful.

Siree(eeeeee) is an established colloquialism. Not sure where from. Southern US maybe?
