So I stumbled across a blog called Hipster Runoff. I genuinely cannot tell which parts are sarcasm and which are genuine hipster opinions. For all I can tell, its all genuine though my suspicion is that the bits with the really atrocious spelling are supposed to be sarcastic.
Now I can't decide if I'm genuinely confused or just ironically confused.
On a very much related note, who here has seen Nathan Barley?

^^I couldn't even parse that site long enough to tell if it was ironic or serious. Is neon yellow ironic or just painful?

Most Hippsters I know were at least smart enough to get into college and then hate the system. That site's writing seemed to suggest an outward hatred for grammar. I don't think that represents hipsters at all.

Maybe the grammar (or lack thereof) is ironic too. Or maybe its 'alt'. I'm sure its 'relevant' either way. If you don't agree you must be lame stream. Or even more alt.
Being a hipster is easy.

Could there be a more serious form of serious than Hipster serious? Seriously.
