Happy reckless consumer consumption week, fellow American MacNNer. (A question just occurred to me-do other countries without thanksgiving have similar pre-December national shopping days?) How was your Black Friday/CyberMonday? And have you seen the son of CyberMonday, Encore Tuesday?

Any other major stores running similar promotional extensions? I did a fairly substantial amount of online shopping on Monday, the most I've ever done I'd say. I think there have been some solid deals for those willing to look. I got a cell phone upgrade for my brother, and I also decided to start gathering some of the components for my next PC build.

Thinkgeek is extending their free shipping today until 3 since their site had so much traffic yesterday it went down.

deepdiscount.com was advertising their sales until today.
