I am slowly building up my mini Mac Museum after going through my old stuff at my Grandma's

Thus far I have a working Mac Plus, Mac Classic, LCIII, LC 475 and I need a power supply for my 5400/180

I am still trying to locate my Quick Silver. I got a retired G3 and G4 tower at work I can add to my collection as well. Im thinking of putting something that pre-dates OS 6 on the plus. OS 6 on the Classic with Multifinder and 7.1 on the LC475. The Power PC's I will put 8 and 9 on with my flat Panel iMac getting a early copy of X.

Not sure why but I guess its keeping me distracted and more important memory lane. I also found all my MacAddicts from 1997 to 2001 so I have a lot of software to play with from the Disc's that came with them.

I also found my geoport modem, SCSI external hard drives which are 4x the size of Mac Mini's and a external SCSI CD Rom which is massive, and as heavy as my Macbook Pro.

I do miss the old Apple Keyboards, the buttons feel so much better and I loved having the power button on the keyboard.

I forgot how easy it was to take apart a LC475. No screws really on the inside.

You should definitely visit the 68k Macintosh Liberation Army. I'm over there, as well. I have quite a few vintage Macs. My current project is to convert an ATX power supply to be used in my Mac IIci so I can get my Radius Rockets working.

Anyone need any old Mac software? Mostly OS 8 stuff. Maybe a few System 7.5 things.

I guess technically it's nerd porn. You should see the thread on the unboxing of my mint-in-box Macintosh LC.

Can I interest you ancient Mac enthusiasts in back copies of MacWeek, Macworld or MacUser (US) magazines? What about a blazing fast Power Macintosh 8600/300?

I still have my first Mac, a Performa 6200CD. Still works fine as far as I know. I couldn't resist maxing it out with all the upgrades I could find on eBay a few years back.

Still got my Commodore Amiga A500 too. Brilliant machine.

I suppose I could dust-off my PowerCenter 150 and boot-up 8.1. Fire-up Write Now. Play some Quake or Duke Nukem. Have some fun with Kai's PowerTools or Texture Explorer. Good times.

I've got a nice Apple II Plus with the monitor, 5 1/4" disc drives and I think a mouse sitting in a closet somewhere. Damn thing still boots too, although I discovered I no longer have any idea what to do with a command line.

At least I'm pretty sure it's a II Plus. In my head I thought it was a IIe, but the motherboard definitely has a serial along with "1979" written on it in black marker. I think the IIe came much later than that.
