Me too. It's not Franklin Gothic. Certainly not for the "One Penny" part. Franklin Gothic is sans.

I'm thinking of the "standard" penny. The design they used between the 50's and the 90's.

subego, I wouldn't bother counterfeiting pennies. Wouldn't it be more interesting to check the font used on the quarter? Or the more recent dollar coins, with intrinsic values under 7¢?

I local guy recently trucked >3 tons of old pennies to be smelted. That's a lot of pennies.

The copper penny is worth more than its face value. Actually, even the zinc penny is worth more in materials than its face value. We have a new trade law preventing mass export of coins because entire countries were doing the same thing. They'd buy up lots and lots of 1980s and older pennies just to melt them down for the copper.
