Inspired by reading this, how many servings of VEGETABLES do you eat per day on average. This does not include fruit.

Calculate it how you like.

I personally eat about 4-5 servings a day. I do not eat much fruit. Maybe 2 bananas a month and the occasional watermelon when it is in season.

Loads. My father remarked how much fruit and veg we eat. I'm lucky in that I eat lunch at a canteen that has eat-as-much-as-you-want veg (not potato stuff). We spend more money on fruit and veg per week than meat.

Either none or one, depending on our meal at home in the evenings. We eat more than enough fruit, but our vegetable intake is embarrassing.

During lunch? Almost never. I'm sure I'll die soon.

Some days, just one (side veg with dinner), some up to 3 (side veg with lunch, side veg with dinner, carrots/cukes for snack), unless I have a salad for lunch, which then puts it over the top.

I'm not counting having a sandwich with lettuce/tomato/pickles.

Close to zero. Even when I was a vegetarian I didn't eat much vegetables, mostly eggs, noodles, and rice.

My business partner is vegetarian and last year in January I decided to join her for vegetarian lunches. Since then, my meat intake has decreased, drastically.

Anywhere from 2 to 5. My wife always makes sure I get as many fresh vegetables as possible.
