Well, I tried starting up Classic for the first time since updating to 10.2.3.

Didn't work. So I tried again. Didn't work. Once more? Still didn't work. For some reason Classic won't launch.

I opened up ProcessViewer and it listed three TruBlueEnvironments, all of them "zombies." But I can't kill them because they're run by the root.

So, how do I safely and effectively kill a zombie without using a shotgun or axe?

I tried killing them in the Terminal, but I just got a "No such process" error.

Do I need to worry about Zombies? They don't seem to take up any memory or processor resources.

Do you see them in the Terminal running top or ps acx? Did you try to kill them using their PID # or by their name?

Ick, zombie processes are never good, and should never happen. The only way to make them go away is to reboot...
