I want to check if some files that I can't see are taking valuable space on my hard disk. I use an external firewire disk for decoding dvd's and stuff like that.
I use dvd backup for this use but the program isn't flexible at all. I can't select a certain scene instead I have to decode the whole video object... So I tried to use DVD extractor on X with the classic emulation. The thing is that when I extract the specified .vob I want it doesn't appear on the disk!! So what it is happenning? Is the file written and not viewable or is the file not written at all? So how do I check if there are files on my disk that I can't see?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Have you tried searching for .vob files? Make sure that Visibility is set to all in the search dialog.

DVDExtractor is not supported in Classic at all, it needs direct hardware access that Classic won't give it.

is the disk space gone, or are you just hoping it's gone so you can get your files?

JLL where do I turn visibility to all?
Uncle skeleton. No I just want my hard disk to be clean. I have no idea whether the files are written or not cause I can't remember how much space was left.
I'm hoping there not written...
