I have OSX 10.1.3

I can't record from sound in

I have tried various apps on versiontracker.com, they don't seem to work

There doesn't seem to be a complete audio in control panel as there was with os9

is there anyway to fix this problem without upgrading to 10.2?

You'll need to download some kind of application that allows you to select an audio-in. Something like audio corder. Doing this on 10.2.x is a real pain. 10.2 makes it all much easier.
