I have a two-time recorded cdrw that was recorded using an hp under windows (which is long go from my house). I tried to erase it in my brand new iBook 800 w/CDRW-DVD and the disk doesn't mount.
However, when opening diskutility it shows the partition though diskutility can't unmount it-eject it. A message saying that the unit is in use appears.
I can't erase the disk, and it's not a problem related to use as it has been recorded only two times.
Any clue?
Thanks

Did u try with toast?

Always does the job for me. just insert the disk when Toast is started and press CMD-B (or choose the option from the menu)...

Did you try using Disk Copy? Go to File-> Erase CD/DVD-RW Disc...

Although, it might not work, seeing as you couldn't erase the disc in Disk Utility...
