I cannot mount a volume from my Iomega Zip CD 650 (USB), much less burn anything. Toast shows that it recognizes the burner, but gives me the beachball when I try to actually burn. iTunes totally hangs, and corrupts my whole Library file, losing all my playlists. And, I can't go the the burning tab, where it supposedly should list my burner if it sees it.

System profiler won't show devices/volumes, so I can't check to see there if it works. I'm thinking this is related. I was hoping to burn a compilation cd for a friend for Christmas because I'm a cheapskate (except when it comes to computers)

I can't download a driver because iomega doesn't have them for OS X. It says their integrated into the OS, or something like that.

Does anyone have any ideas?
