Sound with XDarwin

	I'm having trouble getting sound from XDarwin games. I've installed esound with fink, given the command 'esd &' (also tried 'esd -port 16001 &') and heard the chimes that let you know its working, but I'm not hearing anything from the games that are running. I'm using OS X.2.3 on a Powerbook G3 Lombard. One of the games I'd like to get sound from is xboard. What further configuration needs to be done?
