finkcommander not listing packages

any idea why Finkcommander is not listing any packages (i.e. 0 packages displayed, 0 packages installed) even though doing a "fink list" in the terminal does?

Is there a way to rebuild finkcommander's cache or something? I tried trashing all of FC's pref files and stuff, but this didn't seem to help.

Ideas??

I have the same problem. No idea why.

I found out what my problem was. FinkCommander is incompatible with Perl 5.8. Downgrading back to 5.6 fixed this problem...
