I'm hosting my own mail on OS X Server. And all over the server settings, they have options for something called NotifyMail. Does Mail.app support this? So I essentially never have to check for mail using time. Or is that feature not for mail.app??

I don't expect Mail's behavior will change, but when you open a terminal window and have new mail, it will say "You have new mail".
