A newbie question.

i have 3 accounts in my Mac, and all with the same login items:
-PTHPasteboard
-NetMonitor
-LaunchBar
-ShadowKiller
-Renicer

Anything works as expected, except for the fact that any time there is a logout/login operation, all login items have to reload again. It's not a pain for most of them, but in the case of Renicer, it takes about 30 secs to reload and redefine its priority values, which is very unpleasant, as it freezes the system for a while.

Is it possible to transfer some of these login items (specially Renicer) to a startup items folder, in order to have them loaded just once per session, no matter what users log in and out?

I know there's a StartupItems folder in the /Library/ folder, but i am not sure what kind of stuff should be put there.

I don't think there's any way to do this. The StartupItems in the Library folder is for things like kernel extensions, so putting apps in there wouldn't do any good. Each app needs to be run with the privileges of the logged in user, so they need to be relaunched when a different user logs in.
