Can anyone tell what is going on with these black bars? They appear as I try to scroll through my Applications folder in the dock. It has been there ever since I got my computer last August. It came pre-loaded with OS X but included the 10.2 update cds. I thought that the problem might be solved in future updates, but here we are at 10.2.3 and the problem still exists. Has this happened to anyone else? They do disappear as I move the cursor over the blacked out area, but it is still annoying!

Interesting. I used to have that problem in 10.1 at times, but it went away when I installed 10.2 over the top of it.. so I don't know.

Problem Solved!

Clear dock was one of the first things that I installed. I even forgot that I was using it until it was mentioned in this post. So I uninstalled it and the problem with the black bars went away. Thanks for the help.
