iCal still doesn't respect my date format preferences. i want DAY/MONTH/YEAR.

this is screwy since it works fine on my TiBook, but incorrectly on my dual 450.

You have you checked that the settings in System Preferences -> International -> Date are correct, haven't you?

Did you try to trash iCal's pref files/caches?

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.sources.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
~/Library/Cache/com.apple.iCal

I'd just move them out of their respective folders at first...that way, if you do lose data, you can easily restore it.

Not sure what you will loose exactly... Just move them in another folder instead of trashing them...
