I downloaded and installed the new versions of iCal/iSync yesterday.

With the iSync beta I had problems with duplicates if I placed a synced user in a Palm category on my M515. I tried this with the new iSync and instead of duplicates is now deletes the entry from the AddressBook and my T68i.

Am I missing something here or is it still not possible to categorize people on the Palm and have them sync to the AddressBook?

(I checked the help but that wasn't much use)

BTW. If you try and install iSync 1.0 first it complains that you need to install iCal 1.0.1 before it will install. When you then open the iSync package is says that if you are upgrading from the beta you should sync first. If you try all of your devices have gone because iCal 1.0.1 is not compatible with the iSync beta.

Um it never told me to do any syncing. I downloaded them both and installed iCal, then went to install the isync palm conduit and it said I needed the iSync update installed first, so I did that, then the palm install, then everything worked out.

However I did get duplicates of my contacts and iCal somehow duplicated all of my calendar events. But it's fine now.
