Hello
I"m trying to take my iMac's airport signal and transfer that via ethernet to my Powerbook.

Now i've tried Internet SHaring, and Brickhouse, none ar working.

The Powerbook DOES SHOW AN IP of 192.168.2.49

and in network utilities it shows packets sent, how its active etc etc

but the problem is, if there truely is an IP assigned etc...why can't I use any of my internet programs? iChat, Chimera? nothing works...but it says its active and has an IP address

anyone have an idea?

-Airport on top, ethernet on bottom

Powerbook
-Ethernet ONLY

Try to add DNS servers in the PowerBook's Network Preferences.
(it should not be required). I would make sure that Brickhouse does not
prevent internet connection sharing by desinstalling it.
