OK, I've been running Jaguar happily since it was released and now, at 10.2.3, I am trying to verify that my 10.1 cds are good so I can sell them.

The problem is my mac won't boot from them. I get the happy mac and then nothing. I have backup copies made with disk copy that also won't boot.

I've updated the superdrive's firmware and OS9 still boots as does my OS9 backup and the original install/restore cds.

Is my disk toast? Did Jaguar disable booting to 10.1 cds? (I had a 10.1 partition that worked after Jaguar, but it's gone now).

If this has been discussed, can someone point me to the thread?

Thanks
