Help!

My Mac OS X clipboard appears to be broken. Have I screwed something totally up?

I cannot copy and paste between applications, or drag text or image clippings to the desktop. Only the Finder can copy text to the clipboard, and only Finder can paste that text.

Any clues? Please!

I have. Three times. Tried logging off. Tried shutting down.

Tried lots of things.



I believe the Clipboard is a background service of some sort? But it doesn't show up (isn't it NSpasteboard?) in my Process Viewer.

Boot off the Jaguar CD, open disk utilities, and run apple permissions repair.
