I was trying to spice up my dock with some cool icons so I could post my dock in that forum. Unfortunately, and I don't know how, I have lost I-Tunes in OS X. I can still find my songs but, when I open those folders they open automatically in the "classic OS 9" format. Can anyone tell me how to get my I-Tunes back in OS X? I may not be posing this question correctly so if you need more information just post a question and I will reply.
My oringal I-Tunes is still in my dock but when I click on it nothing happens. I have tried to go into help to open I-Tunes but when I click the link "Open I-Tunes for me" nothing happens there either. Any help offered will be greatly appreciated.
I am also not sure if I have posted this in the correct forum.

You can download it from http://www.apple.com/itunes

Note that it's "iTunes," not "I-Tunes."

fsujenny: I can't reply to your PM because you have chosen not to receive PMs.

To answer your question, yes, I'm suggesting that you download iTunes again because it sounds like you deleted your copy. Perhaps you didn't. If there is an item named "iTunes" in your Applications folder, then you still have the app and you don't need to download it again. To put it in your dock, just drag the iTunes icon to your dock.

If you do have to reinstall iTunes, then all you need to do to restore your Music folder is to drag it onto the iTunes application.

About halfway through downloading iTunes I remembered that I had downloaded it before when I first got my emac. I was able to find the installer, reinstalled iTunes, restarted my computer as instructed, and when I pulled iTunes up there were all of my songs! Just like I had never lost them.
Many props to wataru! Your response to my iTunes emergency saved the day!---THANK YOU!!
