I need to access a proxy that requires setup via an automatic proxy configuration address, so basically I have the address www.xxx.ac.nz/proxy.pac, OS X doesn't appear to have the facility in the Network Setup box to enter this. I'm currently resorting to running Navigator in classic to access all my eJournals as neither Explorer nor Chimera in OS X allow this either. Any ideas?

Thanks Ry

The only browser I know that supports PAC is mozilla, you can enter the pac address in the mozilla proxy preferences, than download the pac file with mozilla, open it in textedit or bbedit, search for the correct settings and enter these settings in system preferences. Not the most elegant solution but it works...
