I have a new Ti PB 1Ghz Superdrive and am experiencing this strange problem where my menu bar disappears and I have to click on the app or desktop to make it reappear. This happens every five seconds, when I try to restart it says that the Launcher program is trying to do something. Anyone have any idea what is going on?
Will be running Drive 10 soon when it comes in the mail...

It could be a problem with your menu extras. I had the same problem with an expired beta of net monitor, try to quit all your third party menu extras and see what happens...

The latest issue of MacWorld actually had a note about this issue: apparently things in your login/startup items folder can cause this problem. They suggest removing things from the folder one at a time until you isolate the culprit.
Also, one of the recent OS updates (10.2.2 or 10.2.3) was supposed to help fix this problem.
