After double-clicking on the .mpkg to install and go through the beginning of the software installation process, I'm halted by an error message that says "cannot install, because newer packages exist", but I don't have Server 10.2 yet! I only run 10.2.3.

Does someone know how to get around this?

Are you trying to install OS X Server over OS X client?

Well I NEVER BOTHERED to look.

Anyhoo, if someone is asking why OS X Server isn't installing and they have 10.2.3 installed probably should not be installing server.

Thank you very much! It worked, and once again, I am thankful.

There's a big difference between Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server. I'm looking to host a web site and to activate a bulletin board with My SQL and PHP. Get the picture?
