Ok, I know this isn't exactly OS X - General Discussion type material here, but this crowd seems to be quite well read and eager to help... so here goes. I have a G3 400 B&W running 10.2.3 (used primarily for webserver and development) and I have a dual-xeon Dell running WinXP (used primarily for graphics and 3d work). Between the two of them, I have two monitors. I used to use one monitor apiece, but now I'm running the G3 headless and using dual displays for the dell. This, while great for the short term while using the dell, has no value as a long-term solution to me. Anyway, my question is this: remember, back in the day, when you had your nintendo and your vcr hooked up like this?

Well, do they make a switch that would work for my situation, like this?

Just curious.

I've never heard of a video switch that supported dual monitors. However, you can use two separate switches. This would require dual display capability on the Mac too.

If the Mac doesn't support dual displays and you don't want to add that to it, use a switch on just one of the monitors. Leave the primary PC monitor connected directly to the PC. The other secondary PC monitor can be on a switch between the Mac and PC. This way you can still have dual displays on the PC. When you need to access your Mac, switch the secondary monitor to it. Now you have access to the Mac and still have one display for access to the PC.
