@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY! Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)! It is also possible that the RSA host key has just been changed. The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is e6:e5:c2:3f:4e:63:19:45:29:62:a8:89:40:c4:72:01. Please contact your system administrator. Add correct host key in /Users/johnm/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this message. Offending key in /Users/johnm/.ssh/known_hosts:2 RSA host key for 192.168.0.1 has changed and you have requested strict checking. Host key verification failed.
See what happened was, I reformatted and completely reinstalled OS X Server on my server, after a had a hard drive go bad. No one is trying to hack me at all, its just essentially a whole different computer, and MY computer thinks its the same one when it tries to connect, but fails because it has a different key. The terminal tells me the above info and thats it, it gives me no ways to fix it, and I need to get into it again. How can I clear out my machine so it thinks its talking to the server for the first time?

The simplest thing is to remove /Users/johnm/.ssh/ if there is nothing you want in there. Actually I guess safest would be to go into your home directory and do

cp -r .ssh dotssh

Then it will start again asking you if you want to connect etc until its built up the list of known servers again.

If you want to be fancier you can open that file and find the offending key and remove it.
