Hello. I'm fairly new to OS X ... quick question, how do I burn mutilple files on cd over a period of time? i.e. Quicken.

It seems like I can only burn one back-up per disc, which can get pretty expensive

I know there's a way to do this but cannot figure out. Any help is much appreciated.

thx.

You'll need a more robust CD burning app than the MacOS's builtin solution to do this (called "multiple session" burns). Check out Toast at www.roxio.com

Check out www.dealmac.com for cheap CDRs, while you're at it. They sometimes find places offering, say, a 50 pack for $24.99 with $20 mail in rebate.

Make the image using Disk Copy, then use "hdiutil burn" in the cli. It does multisession by default; the previous command will give the parameter options.

Or get CD Session Burner, to do the same thing in the gui. It's shareware, it can be found on Versiontracker.
