SU won't update to QuickTime 6.1 for me. It was there the first time so said update and it started to download. Then it told me that there was an error and that i should try again so i tried again got the same error, tried for a thrid time and there was no QT to download. I can't find a standalone installer for this but i was wondering if there was any way to fix this. I've had a look in /Library/Receipts to see if there is anything which there isn't, and there doesn't appear to be anything in the log to indicate that an update took place.
Please help

We have quite a few Macs here at work running Jaguar and I ran into the same problem. It turned out that in our case to fix it I had to log out from the regular user account, and log into an administrator account to run the updater. What is strange is that the installer even asked for admin login/pass combo which it received, it still would not run. Simply make sure that the account you are installing it from has admin priviledges. It installed in each case for us here doign it the way above described. This must be a bug somewhere in the installer app.
